Feast your eyes....just not upon that upholstery.
Behold one of my thrift store finds from the family Thanksgiving vacay in Florida that I didn't share with y'all. Now before you get upset with my non-disclosure, let me say that I had bigger, better plans for this framed needlepoint geisha.
I love needlepoint, I think it is a hobby that I would like to pick up. Needlepoint pillows hold a special fascination for me, they have a vintage feel that I adore. Things I don't love: framed needlepoint works and the price of needlepoint pillows.
Thus a solution was born....
I popped that sucker right out of it's frame, added some backing, stuffed it, and threw on some trim. My $7 needlepoint pillow makes me feel like painting my face and learning the fine art of geisha tea service with my spare money.
Now I will forever be on the lookout for framed needlepoint work!
Here are some other needlepoint pillows for sale that I like!
