Happy Valentines Day! I am looking forward to making some heart shaped pizzas with my boyfran' tonight, nothing too fancy! What about you, will it be a low key night or are you going all out?
In honor of the day of love I thought I would share two things that I love with you.
The first, my favorite poem by William Butler Yeats. It is really a little bittersweet, the way most great love stories are:
When You Are Old
WHEN you are old and gray and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face among a crowd of stars.
The second is a new piece available in CURATE! A wicker elephant table...I decided it was time to bring my elephant table goodness to the masses!
