Brass Chairs

This past week (thanks to a hot tip from my girl Rachel!) I picked up these six Milo Baughman-style dining chairs with brass arms etc.  Listed on the FINDS page for $350 for the set of 6.  I know the fabric is terrible and that these are screaming for some re-upholstery, and I think it is going to take a lot of "vision"for a customer to see that these could be a real ugly duckling story.  Here is what I see when I look at them...

Would you dare?  I would.

The purple with this brass is killing me softly with it's song.

A jewel tone velvet could take this brass to sophisticated new heights.

Fur is an unexpected twist with the brass.  

Can you see where I'm going with these chairs?  Do you see an ugly duckling that can be turned into a swan?  I do and if no one else does soon I'm going to just have to have them reupholstered myself.
