B and A's

I just got back from my upholsterer's yesterday.  She was unveiling all the pieces I had taken to her and I swear I was screaming like a teenage girl at a Justin Bieber concert.  So much good.

A little Chiang Mai is unexpected on this atomic era mid-century swivel chair that was covered in black vinyl.  Some navy velvet trimming sends this piece over the top in my opinion.  We've all seen regular arm chairs covered in this fabric...but hopefully nothing like this has been done.

A double dose of twin headboard goodness.  Took these 50's white vinyl headboards to the modern era with some Schumacher "Nanjing" fabric with coral piping.  I wish I had a little girl because these would be going straight into her room.

These are near and dear to my heart because they are designed by my main man, Milo Baughman.  Added some squared off cushions with contrasting hot pink piping (I know it looks a little red/orange here).  The brass casters add a special touch.

Just had to show the close up of this fabric.  It's pattern wasn't coming through in the other photo and it's too good to not be noted.

This wasn't my project, but it was done for a customer so I thought I would share.  She chose the fabric to re-do a chair she had purchased at FINDS.  Looking snazzy.

Nothing makes me happier than when a reupholstery project goes well.

  1. Those headboards are dreamy. All of the projects turned out so well!
