Born in Modesto, CA, Michael Taylor (1927-1986) has been credited as being the creator of the "California look" and considered to be one of the best interior designers of all time. His collection of furniture for Baker was created in the late 1950's and as far as I can tell can be consistently found on 1stdibs....for a million dollars.
One day I will find you Michael Taylor and I will rejoice in your furniture simplicity and beauty.
I don't know if he designed any beds, but the other day there was a set of twin beds at Goodwill with two metal interlocking circles. I wanted to get them, but wasn't sure.......
