WHICH was fine, they were out of my price range, but I loved them so much I wanted to know what he was going to do with them. So I asked him, and he ignored me, until I actually had to walk around him to get in his direct sight line before he would answer me (no he wasn't deaf) and says, "oh, I don't know yet". Then some young guy comes up and is talking to the same guy, so I ask him what they are going to do with them, just cause I'm curious and I think they're great. He flippantly tells me they are "for his dad."
Well it didn't take me long to figure out that they were re-sellers too, but seriously, does it hurt to be nice? Being nice is free, it doesn't cost anything, so don't be an asshole. I moved on to my next spot where I found these...
pair of these
As I'm walking out after making my purchases the two rude dudes walk in and I give them a smirk knowing that I've just bought the only good thing in the place. Karma, I swear it works.
While you are reading this post this morning I'm on my way up to DC to pick up an etagere (I know I said I was getting one of these earlier, but the seller backed out and decided that she wanted to keep it...which is the most annoying thing in this business!).
Happy weekend!
It will totally be worth it! And thanks for being nice - it's important :)
ReplyDeleteOh yay! It that the same etagere from ebay?! So glad you will get it finally!!
