Thrifted Lamps

Yesterday I was at the local Habitat for Humanity Re-Store and I found these beautiful, plug-in brass swing arm lamps.  I've been looking for a pair of these for what seems like forever, so that was a nice little "yay me" moment.

And I needed one.  I opened up the shop yesterday morning to make a delivery and a BIRD was inside.  Luckily it was a good bird and didn't break anything, and only pooped on one thing.  Small blessings.  Mom and I did look like a couple o' crazies chasing it out, mom tapping on the window, me inside with a jacket trying to corral the bird like a bird matador.

I think right now the sconces are going to have to live with me.  I've always envisioned some beside by bed like so.

Next project...getting my pillows to look half as good as that.
