Found this pair of chairs on Craigslist a few weeks ago. They didn't look this when I got them but of course I forgot to take a "before" picture.
Let me just set the stage in your mind. Picture: torn cushions, nappy coral fabric, stains, and a warning that "the cats usually slept on these." They were not pretty.
Now they have been newly recovered in some $10/yd fabric I found in Mebane with contrasting white piping and are looking mighty fine!
I do need an opinion though. I want to paint the legs (one in the back was repaired) and I'm thinking maybe an orange-y red. Green? Gold? Black? What do you think?
I say orange-y red or black. I think the decision to do the piping was spot on! They look great!
