2014 what what?!

2014 demands that I blog, because I just realized that I started blogging almost 4 years ago.  FOUR YEARS AGO!  I know...thinking about how this whole thing (FINDS etc) got started with just this little blog is crazy.  BTW fun fact:  this blog was called Post-College Working Girl when I first started writing it.  Kind of embarrassing seeing as how the more appropriate title now would be "I Can't Even Remember What it was like to be in College I'm That Far Removed and Now I Work For Myself and That's Scary as Shit Girl."

Anywho, just a few photos to ease us into the new year.  I got this photo from a client who came into the shop looking for something above her mantle.  I pulled together some blue willow plates we had in the store and did a little arranging of them on the floor.  She liked so I sent her home with a blue print and this is what she did:

At any given point we usually have a few blue willow plates lying around the shop so just ask if you'd like for me to concoct something like this for you!

In other news we are finally getting some new lacquered pieces out.  My favorite one was a vintage Thomasville campaign dresser that we lacquered gray.  The pulls on this thing are just really phenomenal and I like how they are different than your typical campaign piece.

On a personal note, Charlie and Emme got engaged over Christmas break

Super in love, here she is with her ring (pop) that he gave her.

And I celebrated the new year with this guy

We were only sliiiightly inebriated but honestly this was the best photo so you can imagine what the others were like.

So excited for 2014 projects and to share them with y'all.  Thanks for a great 2013 and thanks to (some of) you for 4 years of reading this blog.
